Even though we still have four months left in the school year, things are already buzzing as we get ready for 2026-2027, especially with student registrations. Because we work closely with Edmonton Public Schools, both of our teams are deep into planning for the year ahead, including welcoming new students and families.
Society Fees: Talmud Torah Society charges fees to cover the cost of delivering the alternative Judaic program at Talmud Torah School. Fees for KG-Gr. 6, Kinder Out of School Care, and Grades 1-6 Out of School Care will remain unchanged compared to the 2025-2026 school year. Click for fees.
Security Fees: Please note that Talmud Torah Society fees (above) do not include the monthly security fees that are charged on a per family basis. On January 22, 2026, the Board of Directors approved a motion to maintain on-site security through the upcoming school year of 2026-2027. Associated fees will be shared by the end of February 2026.
School & Society Registration: Parents are required to register with both Talmud Torah Society and Edmonton Public Schools (Talmud Torah School), as outlined below:
TALMUD TORAH SCHOOL: Families with children entering Kindergarten can register February 2 to March 25 through the EPSB website.
Families with children entering Grades 1-6 may pre-enroll through their EPSB SchoolZone account between February 2 – March 25, 2026.
If you run into any bumps or just want a bit of guidance, Susan in the school office is always happy to help. You can reach her at 780‑487‑9290 or susan.berezowsky@epsb.ca.

Our website has plenty of helpful information, from details about the Judaic Alternative Program fee to financial aid through the Jewish Federation of Edmonton’s Integrated Bursary Program (IBP).
Thanks to the generous support from gifts made to the United Jewish Appeal campaign, through the IBP, the Federation is able to provide a helping hand, and helps ensure that no child or family is denied Jewish experiences due to financial difficulty.
