We’re happy to welcome Halit and Alon Winter and their kids, Marom (KG), Kedem (Gr. 2), and Iyar (Gr. 5), who moved to Edmonton from Ramat Gan, Israel this past August. They’re here for two years while Halit and Alon take part in medical fellowships: Halit is training to become a retina specialist, and Alon is working in urologic oncology. Read more.
The family is settling in and getting to know the city. The kids are into swimming, gymnastics, piano, and arts and crafts. With winter coming, skiing might be next on the list, ready or not! They’re excited to experience a real Canadian winter (and maybe a little nervous too).
Outside of work and school, they’ve been enjoying the nature in and around Edmonton. They’re also happy to be part of the TT school community and are looking forward to making the most of their time here.
