When information is made public

If you have questions about the collection and sharing of personal information, please contact the TTS at 780-481-3377 or email information@talmudtorahsociety.com; or contact the school at 780-487-9290. Personal Information collected by the TTS under the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) will be kept secure and confidential, and used for the above-stated purposes.

In order for school administration to share school photos and videos with the Society, they must have parent consent. If you have questions, please contact the Society at 780-481-3377 or email information@talmudtorahsociety.com.

When information is made public

Photos and videos posted in public venues or on the internet will not include the student’s name. Once a student’s image, and other identifying information is released publicly, the Edmonton Talmud Torah Society cannot control or prevent the further distribution or use of the material by those who access the information.

Changing your consent

Consent is voluntary. You may at any time withdraw your permission and request that all personal information regarding your child be removed from sites administered by the Society by notifying the Society in writing.

REGISTRATION AND FEE AGREEMENT

As per the Memorandum of Understanding, Edmonton Public Schools provides the Hebrew Bilingual program. Beyond the program provided by EPSB, the TTS provides a Judaic studies program (religious and cultural instruction), some of which is integrated with the Alberta curriculum. The fees charged by the TTS are used to cover the cost of running this program and provide enrichment programs to students at Talmud Torah School.
